The Better Weather

The weather is continuing to shape up around here. I went for a walk in Paradise Meadows yesterday, and although there is still plenty of snow, it is easy to get around. I had no problem touring through the meadows in some shoes and shorts. The snow is all base, and unless you venture too close to the waters edge, or too close to a tree well, it is firm and easy to walk on. So the next sunny day, don't hesitate to head up and experience spring all over again. The lifts are running, taking day hikers to the top of the mountain and back down again.
